Hey Dan,

Awesome post dude! Honestly, Facebook is my main focus now as a marketer.

I've done all the training thats out there and Facebook is where its at and especially where its going.

I believe that within 24 months Facebook will be the Search Engine of choice and also the Paid Search Ad Network of choice too.

And what you have laid out here for us completely displays everything a person needs to know...

The only problem is that most people will look at this as a whole and NOT realize the profoundness of each and every topic you covered...

BUT they will soon!

Great info!

Your Friend,
Kevin DaSilva

Great post! Facebook can be very valuable for business IF you create the right environment.

You laid out the most important steps. One just need to dig deeper and tweak their marketing to make it the least resistant to the consumer.

Thanks again!

This is a great overview of reasons why for those people or businesses that still haven't dived into social marketing, particularly as it pertains to marketing on Facebook.

I think a good follow up to this article would be some points about how businesses and brands are improperly using outlets like Facebook would also be valuable.

I sell an ebook and I put an ad in facebook to promote it. The book sells for $9.99, and the cost per click was $7. I was shocked! Fortunately my budget was only $10 a day.

Fan pages for businesses are becoming a necessity but what is there for the individual realtor, lender or insurance professional for a company that doesn't have the skill, time or money to create a business fan page, learn about advertising and the ability for a blog. I am happy to let everyone know of a product called Gofaceit, which allows these individuals in these professions and others to market the products, goods and services to their friends and their friends on their personal facebook page/wall. In addition for those individuals whose sales/commissions are dependent on their clients obtaining financing it offers a brand able credit repair tool to help create a pipeline of future sales and commissions.

Great post, really enjoyed reading it. Really current IMPORTANT topic. I got a lot out of it. Currently setting up a fan page for a new dirt bike website in Australia. It will form a pivital role in the promotion of the site.

Excellent post. Using Facebook and other social media platforms for marketing purposes is just taking off and will explode in popularity in the near future. You've outlined the best ways to currently leverage Facebook to generate quality traffic and increase your brand awareness. Thanks for sharing.

I agree! Facebook is definitely going to be more popular in the future. Twitter will be as well.

I want to know that if Facebook charges for FANS on any business page? Are there any kind of Terms and Conditions for fans base of any page (established as per Facebook rules)?

Waiting for quick reply..

Thanks

Fantastic and informative post!

I have been using Twitter to advertise some of my marketing campaigns but I recently got into using Facebook and have even created a fan page. This has proved really effective as more and more people join my fan page and it has enable me to make direct IM promotions through the page.

Next on the list is to create targted Facebook groups! :)

Kind regards
The facebook cash generator guy a.k.a Steve :)

Nice Article!
Facebook Marketing is bar none the best way to market online now. This revolutionary transition from Google to Facebook is going to be a bit challenging for the old guys however; I guess we just need the Education.

Thanks for the cool post.

IT depends on what you are selling though, because Facebooks advertising program does not allow any home business ads. However you can still show your offers to your friends. I find keeping my business friends and local friends separate works best. so I created two accounts, one for online business and one for local personal friends.

Nice one and Lovely and I also want to share that thing on my blog too

I love using Facebook PPC. It's not always the easiest to get your ads approved, but the ability to target people to well makes up for it.

I have never used Facebook PPC but my services is not that kind of target market. Anyhow google is still king in my eyes but facebook isnt far behind

Paid Ads are the most effective ads in facebook. They reach millions of accounts in contextual advertising. While to go free in facebook marketing, you need to rely on your friends and connections.

Thanks for the cool post.

Thos blogs must have been interesting!

When you have earned a lot and have a good budget for paid advertising in Facebook, then you can totally go for it. Using free methods isn't bad either but it doesn't mean it's the best.
